About the event

I believe that in watercolor technique, light and shadow coexist in delicate harmony. From this faithful balance, contours are defined, and forms are mutually enhanced. I am totally sure that each soft or hard brush stroke under layers creates new forms. Meanwhile, brightness and the concepts of perspective, depth, and proximity emerge with the use of light and shadow. When light and shadow are in equilibrium, each brushstroke reveals a serene harmony, where rays of light suggest textures and shadows lend form and mystery. fortunately, from this almost romantic dance, the luminous world becomes something perpetual or fleeting, tangible or intangible, serene or dramatic. And that's why I believe, from the interplay of light and shadow in an aqueous medium, anything can happen, the freedom, the spontaneity, makes me the first spectator of the magic of watercolor painting. This experiment invites me to pause, to reflect, and consider that each watercolor brushstroke is filled with poetry.
